Roy Ian is a seasoned data scientist with more than 11 years of experience in the technology and data science industry.
He currently serves as Principal Data Scientist and Head of Data Science at PickMe. Ian brings deep technical expertise and strategic leadership to the development of AI-driven solutions that power real-time operations, customer intelligence, and scalable decision systems.
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Moratuwa. He has served in key roles at LSEG Technologies, Mobitel, ADA Asia Singapore and Softlogic Life Insurance which has provided him with broad exposure to align AI/data science strategies with business objectives across multiple domains.
With a deep passion for context-aware AI, real-time analytics, and ethical machine learning, Ian continues to push the boundaries of how data can transform platforms, products, and experiences in emerging markets.

He led the international software business for 10 years, managing the complete lifecycle from multiple product development through global sales and support.
He later served as Group Director and Group CTO of the Informatics Group, gaining deep insight into building sustainable technology enterprises that compete globally.
In academia, he brings 20+ years as Visiting Lecturer and 10 years as Senior Lecturer, currently teaching Strategic Management, Business Decision Making, Business Analytics, Cyber Security Risk Management, and Data Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Delvin Fletcher

He spent his early professional years with KPMG Management Consulting working on strategy, marketing, technology and operations projects in North America and EMEA. He has served in leadership roles and managed global teams at both multinationals and high growth privately held companies, including SAP, Rubbermaid, Shred-it International, Ethoca Limited and Xchange Technology Group.
In addition, his experience includes extensive consulting and interim leadership roles in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Delvin holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and is both a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
